In Estonia, there are two mid-seasons: between autumn and winter, and between winter and spring. During these periods, temperatures usually range from 0°C to +10°C, but the weather is extremely changeable. Temperatures can fluctuate significantly within a short period of time.

In other words, mid-season is a period when it is cold outside without warm outerwear (softshell, hardshell), but winter clothing can be too hot.

Mid-season insulation usually ranges from 60 to 100 grams, while winter clothing insulation usually starts at 120 grams.
