Winter clothes

In recent years, Estonian winters have not been particularly cold, with temperatures mostly ranging between 0 and -10 degrees Celsius. However, winter clothing is still necessary for children to protect them and ensure their comfort on colder days. Modern clothing technologies have developed fabrics that not only retain heat, but are also moisture-proof or even completely waterproof. Therefore, some winter coats may seem very thin to the touch, but their insulating properties are still excellent. The insulation of an average winter jacket ranges from 140 to 180 grams.

Very warm – This outerwear is exceptionally warm and offers excellent insulating properties, with padding ranging from 160 to 300 g/m². It is the ideal choice if you are spending the whole day in a cold environment.

When choosing winter clothing, it is important to consider your child’s outdoor activity level. Even if your child is wearing warm clothes, high-quality shoes, and gloves, their body can still get cold if they are not moving around enough. Therefore, it is important for children to stay active, as movement helps them stay warm.
